Citrine is a beautiful yellow-toned quartz that is the birthstone for November and the traditional stone of the 13th anniversary. Citrine makes us think of Fall, especially when mixed with red, orange and brown, but it also looks gorgeous mixed with turquoise and floral colors in the Spring.
As a gemstone, citrine can vary from a pale yellow (sometimes called champagne citrine) to a very dark reddish -orange yellow, which is often heat-treated to achieve this color. In Victorian jewelry, it can often be seen in the pale yellow forms and has been used throughout history to decorate crowns, weapons and in jewelry.
Personally, I love the rich tones of citrine and the versatility of the color. We are celebrating this November birthstone with the collection below. Hop on over to our website here to shop the collection!
