If you haven’t been to Absinthe in San Francisco, you owe it a visit. It is delicious! I had some friends in town this past weekend and it was our Sunday night dinner spot. It is one of our favorites and did not disappoint this weekend. Absinthe is a darling French brassiere in Hayes Valley, where the ambiance is fabulous and the food delicious!
They have a wonderful wine list and a great assortment of cocktails to start off your evening. Their cheese plate selections are equally divine. You are sure to find several new things on there to love and each come with sides chosen to accent the cheese – nuts, honey, fruit – and of course, thin toast points. Super yum! The apps and entrees are equally mouth-watering. The Osso Bucco is wonderful, as is the Paparadelle with Lamb, which may have been our favorite! The Coq au Vin is also incredibly tasty. And the Chocolate Pot de Creme…amazing!
Enjoy!
