Andrea Montgomery Designs was one of the featured vendors at the Astros’ Pink in the Park event – a fun time was had by all while raising money for breast cancer research!
Today, Andrea Montgomery Designs was one of the featured vendors at the Pink in the Park event in downtown Houston at Minute Maid Park. The event was part of Astros in Action and the luncheon and shopping event benefitted breast cancer research. Cara Berkman and Cynthia Berkman were the honorary chairs and Milo Hamilton was the guest speaker. It was a gorgeous day and a great event!! (more…)
Introducing…our new logo! After nine years with the old logo, we are rockin’ a different look these days and you’re the first to see it! You’ll be seeing our new signature pink logo on our gift boxes and bags this holiday season and soon, on our updated website!
Well, gals – it’s pink ribbon time! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we’d like to invite you to join us in making a difference in the fight against cancer. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the sales of our 2009 Pink Ribbon necklace will be donated to the Stehlin Foundation for Cancer Research to help support the clinical trials of their promising anti-cancer drug, CZ48. If you’ve never heard of Stehlin (or CZ48), you should definitely check them out. This small organization of dedicated people in Houston, Texas is making a BIG difference in the fight against cancer. Check out their website for more information – www.stehlin.org – and feel free to call them up for a tour of their research lab – you’ll learn a ton and they’d be thrilled to show you around!

St. Francis Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas officially kicked off the holiday season with their first annual “First of Fall” market. What a market it was! (Note to all of you Houston gals out there – when Vanessa Sendukas is in charge of an event, get yourself there – it’s gonna be fab!)
The market kicked off today and it is truly top-notch. The decor and layout is wonderful and the vendors are amazing! It’s truly the best of the Nutcracker Market without the entrance fee or parking hassle! (Not that we don’t adore the Nutcracker Market – because we do – those caramel apples alone are worth it!)
We’re having a blast at this show and know you will, too! If you can’t make it out, here are a few photos for you…
Our 2009 Pink Ribbon Necklace was just selected to be in the gift bagsfor the Hollywood “What a Pair” event benefiting breast cancer research – so exciting!
Pack your bags, we’re going to Hollywood! Well, our jewelry designs are, anyway. Each year, we do a “pink ribbon” necklace that benefits a different cancer charity. This year’s necklace is my favorite yet – it’s delicate and is a classy, understated way to support an important cause. I’ve had many friends and a family member who have battled breast cancer, so it’s a cause that is near to my heart. This year, it’s especially close as one of my dearest friends is in the midst of her battle with this dreadful disease right now (and she’s doing wonderfully, thank the Lord!) (more…)

Andrea Montgomery LOVES designing custom orders for brides – and this one was extra fun!
When effortlessly chic Sarah Jane approached me about doing her bridal jewelry, I knew that I was in for a treat. This bride has such a fabulous sense of style that is all her own and it really made doing her wedding jewelry so much fun! Her wedding was in gorgeous Aspen in the Fall and she wanted to do something different – so she incorporated purple into all of her wedding jewelry. I absolutely LOVED it! (more…)

We met up with Christie Brinkley at the Sundance Film Festival – and she fell in love with these smoky quartz and emerald earrings!
I just got back from stunning Deer Valley and the 2009 Sundance Film Festival that takes over snowy Park City, Utah every year at this time! It was a wonderful trip and we met up with Christie Brinkley in downtown Park City and she fell in love with my earrings – the pear-shaped smoky quartz with faceted emerald roundels. Of course, I gave them to America’s sweetheart model and she couldn’t have been any nicer (or more beautiful – even up close!) She’s a darling in person and I’m just thrilled that she loves Andrea Montgomery Designs!
